It is with a heavy heart that I come to you with preparations for the PGA Championship.

Now, I’m not sad because it’s the PGA Championship — I’m sad because on Sunday, when the final putt falls in the hole, there will be no more major championship golf for the better part of eight months. And that’s a terrible thought.

In the words of Jon Snow, “winter is coming.”

Once again, the World Golf Championships offer the best players on Tour the chance for a cut-free week. It also provides one of the year’s deepest fields. With the likes of Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler teeing it up in Ohio, there’s plenty to dive into from a fantasy standpoint.

It seems like every year the John Deere Classic turns in one of the year’s most dramatic finishes. While time will tell what this season’s installment of the John Deere will bring, it guarantees to be a thriller. Good day, friends and degenerates! It’s time, once more, for your chance at (almost) free money! The PGA Tour rolls into (kind of) our Nation’s Capital for the Quicken Loans National. While the Big Cat won’t be in town, there are plenty of PGA Tour big dawgs ready to take down the title and add valuable FedExCup points…

The PGA Tour shifts gears and heads down I-95 towards our Nation’s capital for the Quicken Loans National. While the tourney’s long-time host — Tiger Woods — isn’t expected to play (duh) or even be on property while he deals with personal issues, there is still plenty of star power teeing it up this week at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm.
