Sea Island, Georgia – Three past champions are among our RSM Classic picks, as the tour returns to the Seaside Course at Sea Island, Georgia.  The event was formerly known as the McGladrey Classic.

2014 champion Robert Streb, 2013 winner Chris Kirk and 2011 victor Ben Crane are among our choices this week, which, for the first time, are divided into four tiers, based on a player’s Draft Kings’ (DK) salary.

Here are our choices:

Tier 1 (DK Salary $9,000 and over)

Matt Kuchar, USA (OWGR = 17, DK Salary = $10,800)  – Kuchar hasn’t had a Top 10 on the PGA Tour since the Tour Championship but did win the Fiji Open on the Australasian Tour recently. Due for a good finish and has a good record at Sea Island with three Top 25’s in the the last four years, including a 7th place finish in 2013.

Playa del Carmen, Mexico – Like many North Americans, Charley Hoffman has planned a return visit to the Mayan Riviera this year, hoping for a repeat of the fun in the sun he had in 2014

But the 42nd ranked player in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) won’t be looking for a suntan. Instead he’ll have his sights on birdies and a second straight OHL Classic at Mayakoba title.

Hoffman is one of the players to watch this week when you’re filling out your fantasy golf line-up card. Here are our favorites, contenders and sleepers for this week’s PGA Tour stop at El Camaleon Golf Club.

The Favorites

Charley Hoffman, USA (OWGR = 42) – Hard to overlook the defending champ, who obviously likes the course, and had a couple of top finishes in the FedEx Cup playoffs, including a third at the Deutsche Bank. Two runners-up already in 2015 at the Humana and the Nelson and a win here would get his 2015-2016 campaign off to a roaring start.

The 2015-2016 PGA Tour season switches into high gear this week as the most of the sport’s elite converge on Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai, China for the 11th playing of the World Golf Championships HSBC Champions.

After three “warm-up” events that featured predominantly second tier stars, many of golf’s top players make their season debuts this week, creating a field that includes 11 of the Top 15 players in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). The eleven includes the Masters and U.S. Open champion Jordan Spieth, Players’ champion Rickie Fowler and former world number one, Rory McIlroy.

But who are the players you should be targeting as you set your line-up for your fantasy game this weekend. Here’s a look at the favorites, some players you don’t want to sleep on and some guys you might want to avoid when making your selections later today.

The race for the 2015-2016 FedEx Cup continues in Malaysia this week, with the playing of the 2015 CIMB Classic at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.

The field for the $7,000,000, third leg of the year-long championship features a solid field of professionals, but only one player who ranks in the Top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) entering play this week.

The 78 players in the field will be trying to get a jump on the superstars of the game, earning some valuable points that could translate into a visit to East Lake for the Tour Championship in late September.
