Just because the PGA Tour is off until January 4th and the only golf being played on American soil is meaningless doesn’t mean you can’t be thinking about Fantasy golf. In fact, if you’re a serious player and you’re NOT thinking about fantasy right now, you’re being lapped and you’re wish for 2018 may end up being for a mulligan.

Ahh yes. Pride does, in fact, come before the fall. And what a fall it was for ol’ No. 1.  A mere four days after pounding my chest and talking about who magnificent the 2017-’18 season was going for Golfstradamus, I laid an egg. And, worst of all, opted to pass on Patton Kizzire in favor of Beau Hossler. Yuck.

The PGA Tour returns stateside this week for the fifth event of the 2017-’18 season — the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas.

After three straight weeks of prime-time TV golf during the Tour’s swing through the far East, the best in the world return to the U.S. and normal weekend tee times — which also means a return to fantasy lineup normalcy.
